Meet, Shelby Burton, working in the corporate world all my life, when my second child was born,I knew I wanted to stay home. The questions were how could I contribute to my family and still be the working person I was at heart. I became a virtual assistant. It checked all the boxes, but I knew there was more out there. I knew that I could help business owners being a virtual assistant and knew that I could help others become a virtual assistant. My friend put the bug in my ear and VBA was born.

I love that I get to work with people on both sides of the spectrum. Going on 6 years in the virtual assistant business I am excited to see where VBA can go and serve others.

A little about me, mom of two, married and live on a little farm, well more like property. Yes, we have chickens (swipe over), cats, dogs, and even a bunny. I am sure more animals are in our future. I am also a business person at heart. I love organization, thinking outside the box, and learning new ways to give the best service to VBA’s clients. I love all things entrepreneurship, even though it is a very hard and demanding job. I am very upbeat and love all things positive. All in all, I’m a hometown girl with a big heart.
