Our Top 5 Tips to Finally Keep Your New Years Resolution

Writing down all our plans for 2020! What is your BIGGEST goal going into this new year? And a more important question - what are you going to do to make those goals a reality? How many times have you made a new years resolution and by January 12th, or sooner 🙊, you've completely given up? Its not that you didn't mean it when you said it, it's just that you didn't know it would be so hard. Well VBA knows that anything worth having is worth working for, so here are our 5 tips to FINALLY keep your new years resolution:

Know your why - if you don't have a purpose, then you won't have a reason to keep going.

Write it down, hang it up on your wall - it's hard to forget things when they are staring you in the face.

Find someone with a similar goal - having an accountability partner is a great way to stay committed, although letting yourself down should be enough motivation. 👊🏻

Start small - you can't change your whole lifestyle in one day, that's an easy way to crash out. Instead, find simple ways to implement your new routine and build up from there.

Don't be so hard on yourself - so you skipped a day? So what! Does that mean you should wait until 2021 to try again? NO! Be gentle and kind to yourself and try again tomorrow.
