Let's Discuss Discrimination

I always felt that bias is everywhere. It's rather unfortunate, but it's something that I have observed on the street and in the workplace.

Talking of the workplace, I do think that, yes, we can passively (or, sometimes, aggressively) act biased toward others. Someone could have differing views or just be an off-the-wall individual. It's not okay to isolate them from the team.

It's okay to be your own bubble and you shouldn't be expected to act the same or think the same. Your input as well as other's should be important. We all want a great workplace, but everyone forgets one simple thing.

In order to have a great workplace, we all have to work together for it. There's simply no room for discrimination.

I think when building a business, new or old, it is imperative to consider every opinion. It's why businesses have feedback from all levels of employees and customers. It helps build a better community.

And community is important to the business which is why we should not discriminate. Discrimination limits our outreach and the growth of business. When we ignore other's opinions or, rather, their individuality, we fail on all levels.
